The event is a celebration of the University of Johannesburg’s sponsorship of African delegates to attend the recent Evidence Synthesis Hackathon 2019 that took place in Australia in April. The event will include delegates sharing their experiences of the 2019 hackathon, and a demonstration of a machine learning tool co-developed by research and technology specialists. The discussion with the audience will centre on the nexus of research and the 4IR, and the role that Africa can play in that.
