GESI-CEE Hub for Environmental Evidence Synthesis

We are happy to announce that the Global Evidence Synthesis Initiative (GESI), the Collaboration for Environmental Evidence (CEE) and the team at Exeter University who is working on the “Blue Communities” project , have joined efforts to create the “GESI-CEE Hub for Environmental Evidence Synthesis”.
The aims of the Hub are to support capacity for centres (individuals and people) in South East Asia in undertaking Environmental Evidence Syntheses.
The activities which we aim to facilitate include webinars to share experiences of Evidence Synthesis, dissemination of useful resources, in-kind knowledge sharing and online and in-person training and workshops.
The Hub would be a collaborative effort, with members of the Hub initiating linkages, conversations, suggesting training needs/capacity and offering in-kind support for other members of the Hub. In this bottom-up approach, we aim for network members to have ownership of the Hub, which would be facilitated by the Coordinating team.
Our first session will take place on September 26th at 4pm Beirut// 8pm Jakarta
In this session, we will introduce the concept of the Hub, and Dr. Jaqcui Eales will take us through the rationale behind this collaboration and the planned activities.
