To determine to what extent protected areas have contributed to the conservation of
Orinoco and American crocodiles in Latin-American countries, by addressing the following questions:

conservation strategy for crocodiles (Crocodylus intermedius and C. acutus) in Latin-
American countries?

What factors (characteristics of protected areas, population restoration, law
enforcement level and others) determine the success of protected areas for the
conservation of Latin-American crocodiles (C. intermedius and C.
acutus)?
