What is the aim of the review?
To investigate whether thinning of spruce overstories increase the growth rate and survival of spruce seedlings and young saplings. Secondarily, to examine the influence of environmental and treatment conditions (light penetration, soil type, climate, thinning intensity, thinning history) have on the impact of the thinning.
