Review
Groups are composed of people, experts in their field from around
the world, who share an interest in undertaking and maintaining
systematic reviews within a specific topic area. Review groups
encourage the undertaking of systematic reviews in the topic area,
help potential authors in Review Teams to access funding and guide
them through the initial process of undertaking a systematic review.
Review Groups are supported by the CEE Executive Office editorial
staff who edit and assemble completed systematic reviews for publication
in the CEE Library.
Each
Review Group has a Leader who coordinates the development of review
activity in their field and acts as a Subject Editor for the CEE Library. Review Group Leader is a voluntary position
with the responsibility for submitting an annual report of activity
to the CEE Executive Office.
Typical activites of a Review Group are:
1.
Interacting with appropriate stakeholder groups to develop review
questions.
2. Providing supportive advice and feedback to those wishing to
engage in systematic review activity.
3. Maintaining regular communication with the CEE Executive Office
concerning Review Group activity.
4. Facilitating submission of protocols and reviews from a diverse
range of authors from their subject field.
5. Facilitating the availability of funds for undertaking systematic
reviews.
6. Promoting the systematic review process and disseminating the
results.
7. Encouraging an open, inclusive and supportive collaboration
of professionals.

CEE encourages scientific experts in environment management and
conservation who are interested in participating in Review Groups
