Draft protocols are available for consultation with the user-community, stakeholders and subject experts prior to formalisation and initiation of the systematic review; each draft will be posted on the web for a one month period for this purpose. Draft protocols also undergo formal peer review: for details of this process, please refer to our Peer Review Policy. Once comments have been collated, these are then returned to the review team, who should respond to them and produce a finalised version for submission to the CEE Library.
For a detailed description of the function and content of a protocol, please refer to the Centre for Evidence-Based Conservation's Guidelines for Systematic Review of Effectiveness of Interventions in Conservation and Environmental Management. For more details on the structure and a template for protocols submitted to the Collaboration for Environmental Evidence, please see our 'Information for Authors' page.
The following tables list all reviews currently at the draft protocol stage: the first detailing those currently available for public consultation and the second those that have completed the open consultation phase and are now being finalised by review teams. Click on the review title to read the draft protocol. Please follow the links to the review page for more information about each proposed systematic review. You will find details of the closing dates for any drafts currently available for public consultation, as well as a feedback form for returning your comments to us. We thank you in advance for your time and remarks.
