NEW TRUSTEES ARE SOUGHT TO JOIN THE CEE BOARD (posted 14/02/2012)
New Trustees are sought to join with the Board of Trustees to help guide CEE towards achieving its mission and a key role would be to seek resources to enable CEE to establish a paid staff and thus achieve a ‘step change’ in reach and impact. You would need to be able to make a commitment to CEE and devote the necessary time, have strategic vision, independent judgement, an ability to think creatively and a willingness to take an active role in fund-raising.
The Board of Trustees
As a not-for-profit organization, the CEE has a Board of Trustees. The Board is responsible for proper governance of the CEE, probity, adherence to regulations for ‘not for profit’ organisations and charity law. The Board will also receive and respond to reports from the Executive Office and the Advisory Group.
The following are the founding members of the Board.
Dr Teri Knight
Bangor University, UK
Prof. Rob Marrs
University of Liverpool, UK
Prof. Andrew Pullin (Chair)
Bangor University, UK
The intent of the founding Board is to both increase the number and broaden the scope of expertise of Trustees over the next few years.
